Getting Started
Most Commonly Asked Questions
Marby.ai is an AI marketing platform created for entrepreneurs, small-business owners, and lean teams. It first helps them to uncover what they may be too close to see — what their customers are thinking, what is happening in their market, what their competitors are doing and where new opportunities may be hiding.
MAI, their AI-Marketing Director, then turns those discoveries into strategic monthly Marketing Plans, and then executes up to 31 days of purposeful Social Media Content scheduled and delivered - month after month.
Simply give MAI your website address—that’s it. No questions to answer, no prompts, no uploads. She gets to work right away, walks you through everything she uncovers and uses those insights to build your Marketing Plan and Social Content. If there’s anything new you would like to promote, simply tell her.
The process couldn’t be easier. MAI handles the “heavy thinking” and does the work—you simply review, revise if needed, and approve. Your entire month of content is scheduled and ready to be delivered in less than an hour.
MAI learns about your business. She reviews your business and completes your Business, Customer and Market Analyses.
You see what MAI uncovers. MAI walks you through what she has learned about your business, your customers, your competitors, and your market. You can review her findings and add or correct anything along the way. This initial discovery process takes about 10 minutes for her to do her deep dive into your business.
Your Brand DNA comes together. MAI brings everything she has learned into your Brand DNA Snapshot, giving you a clear picture of what makes your business distinctive, what matters to your customers and where new opportunities may be waiting.
MAI moves you along to your Marketing Plan where you choose the month you want to market. If you have a new product, service, promotion, event, or priority you want to highlight, simply tell MAI. If not, she already has what she needs to set up your Marketing Plan.
MAI creates your monthly Marketing Plan. She considers your Brand DNA, customer motivations, market conditions, season, holidays, shopping trends and anything you want to promote when she builds your Marketing Plan.
Your month of Content is created. Using the Marketing Plan as her direction, MAI builds your complete month of Social Media Content—ready for you to review, revise if needed and approve.
You choose when and where your posts appear. Select the social channels, dates and times you prefer. If you don’t choose a specific time, approved content will automatically be scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on the day of the post.
Give MAI your website address, share anything new you want to promote and approve the finished work. MAI guides you through everything in between.
Marby’s ideal customer is an established, owner-led small business—or a lean team—that needs professional Marketing Direction and consistent Social Media Content, thoughtfully planned, created and published, month after month.
Every post has a purpose. Every month begins with a strategy.
Most often, this is a founder who:
Is wearing too many hats and still carries the final responsibility for marketing.
Knows marketing matters but struggles to make it a consistent priority.
Has a website, customers and a proven offer, but may not clearly communicate what makes the business distinctive.
Wants to better understand their customers, market and competition—not simply generate more posts.
Doesn’t want to learn complicated AI tools, write prompts, or manage credits.
Wants expert guidance while remaining in control of their brand and approving what is published.
Needs marketing to feel lighter, clearer and more strategic.
Values predictable, affordable support instead of hiring an agency or senior marketing employee.
Marby is especially well suited to businesses where trust, visibility, storytelling, and consistent communication influence the buying decision:
Wedding and event businesses
Spas, beauty, wellness, yoga and Pilates studios
Owner-operated retail and boutiques
Interior design, renovation and construction businesses
Restaurants, hospitality and tourism businesses
Local and professional service providers
Coaches, consultants and other founder-led personal brands
These businesses usually have plenty to say but lack the time, strategic direction or confidence to decide what matters most. They also operate in crowded markets where posting generic content isn’t enough—they need to understand what their customers care about and communicate why their business is worth choosing.
The most important distinction is this:
Marby’s ideal customer isn’t simply looking for 30 social media posts. They want someone to understand their business, show them what they may be missing and turn those discoveries into a clear marketing direction—with the content already created to bring that direction to life.
No marketing or AI experience is needed. Marby was designed specifically for busy business owners—not marketers, prompt writers, or technology experts.
You simply give MAI your website address, MAI then analyzes your business, customers, market and competition, shows you what she has discovered, and creates your monthly Marketing Plan and up to 31 days of Content, scheduled. You can review, edit and approve everything before it is published.
There are:
No complicated prompts to write.
No marketing strategy for you to figure out.
No confusing credits or tokens to calculate.
No need to start with a blank page.
No loss of control over your voice or brand.
MAI™ is the marketing intelligence inside Marby.ai. Think of MAI as the experienced marketing mind behind Marby—bringing you insight, direction and execution while keeping you in control of your brand. She has been trained to learn about your business, your customers, your market and your competition. She then uses those discoveries to build your Brand DNA, develop strategic monthly Marketing Plans, and creates up to 31 days of purposeful Social Media Content.
ChatGPT and many other AI tools can create content, but they often leave the “heavy thinking” with the business owner. You still need to provide the direction, write the prompts, decide what should be posted and determine whether the content supports your business goals and in some cases, copy and paste the information into your social pages.
Marby was built differently because we understand the realities of founder-led businesses. Business owners are experts in what they do—but they aren’t always marketing experts, nor do they have hours to spend learning how to direct an AI tool.
MAI was designed to think like a Marketing Director who has thoroughly researched your company, your customers, your market and your competition—and then create like an expert Social Media Content Creator.
Marby removes almost all of the thinking and doing while still leaving you with the final say. Simply tell MAI if there is something new you want to promote that month, then review, make any changes you would like and approve your content.
For each post, you can add your own images or videos, or ask MAI to create an on-brand image designed to work with the message.
MAI does the research, strategy, planning and creation. You remain in control.
MAI starts with your Brand DNA. She begins the process by diving deep into understanding your business before she creates anything. It goes well beyond your colours, fonts or tone of voice.
MAI looks closely at your business, your customers, your market, your competition and your brand. The Brand DNA gives you an opportunity to step back and look at your business with fresh eyes.
Through your Brand DNA you will:
See your business the way your customers see it.
Learn what makes your customers start looking, what they’re hoping to find and what helps them feel confident choosing you.
Get a better sense of what’s happening in your market and how your customers’ expectations may be changing.
Notice gaps and opportunities your competitors may have missed.
Understand which features customers simply expect—and which strengths genuinely make your business different.
Become clearer about what you want your business to be known for.
Discover practical ways to improve your offers, strengthen how you talk about your business and create a better customer experience.
Find the right moments to promote your products, services or upcoming offers.
Confirm what your instincts have been telling you while taking a fresh look at assumptions that may no longer be serving your business.
Use what you learn to make better decisions throughout your business—not only in marketing and social media.
Move forward knowing where to focus and feeling more confident about what comes next.
We experienced this ourselves when MAI created Marby’s Brand DNA. One of the most valuable discoveries was that our customers aren’t simply looking to buy 30 social media posts. They want marketing that has already been thoughtfully prepared for them—with the research completed, the direction recommended and the content ready to review—so they can make the final decisions without having to start from scratch.
While MAI is learning how to market your business, you will begin to understand your business in an entirely new way as you review what she discovers.
Absolutely. Your business will continue to grow and change, and your Brand DNA can grow with it.
You can update it when you introduce a new product or service, begin serving a different type of customer, change your positioning or simply realize there is something important MAI should understand about your business.
MAI will use the updated information to guide your future Marketing Plans and Social Media Content, helping your marketing stay relevant as your business evolves.
Your Brand DNA isn’t meant to lock your business into one direction. It is designed to keep MAI’s understanding of your business current.
MAI takes the pressure off you by doing much of the research and strategic thinking—but you’re always in control.
She looks beyond what your customers are buying to understand what they may really be hoping for. Someone may book a service or purchase a product, but what they truly want could be more confidence, reassurance, relief, recognition or simply more time.
MAI uses that understanding to help shape your monthly Marketing Plan. She also considers the season, upcoming holidays, shopping trends, online buying habits and anything new you want your customers to know about.
Let’s say you’re introducing a new Holiday Hot Chocolate Drink. Simply tell MAI, and she’ll thoughtfully work it into your Marketing Plan and create content throughout the month that helps promote your new Holiday Hot Chocolate Drink.
This means your content isn’t pulled from a generic calendar or created from a series of random prompts. It is based on what MAI understands about your customers, what is happening around them and what matters to your business right now.
MAI brings the insight, ideas and direction. You share your priorities and always have the final say.
Yes. Marby is designed to keep the business owner in control. You can review and adjust your Brand DNA, plans, posts, captions, calls to action, images, and scheduling choices before publishing.
Marby is designed to complete the entire process in less than an hour for many users. The exact time depends on how much you review, edit, customize, and whether you generate or upload images.
The goal is not to rush your marketing. It is to remove the hours normally spent deciding what to promote, planning the month, writing content, finding images, and organizing a calendar.
02
Creating with MAI
What MAI creates—and how you can customize it.
MAI can create up to 31 social media posts each month, all based on your Brand DNA and monthly Marketing Plan.
Your content may include:
Helpful tips and educational posts that show your expertise.
Product or service promotions.
Seasonal and holiday content.
Customer-focused posts that speak to their needs, concerns and goals.
Brand stories that help people get to know your business.
Trust-building content that gives customers more confidence in choosing you.
Timely posts supporting launches, events, special offers or business announcements.
Engaging content designed to start conversations and keep your business visible.
Each post includes an attention-grabbing title, a thoughtful caption, relevant hashtags, a clear call to action and a coordinated visual. You can add your own photos or videos, or ask MAI to create an on-brand image that brings the message of your post to life.
Most importantly, your content isn’t created as a collection of random ideas. Each post has a role to play in your larger Marketing Plan, helping your business communicate consistently and with purpose throughout the month.
Yes. Before MAI creates your social media content, she develops a monthly Marketing Plan based on your Brand DNA, current business priorities, customer needs, seasonal opportunities and anything new you want to promote.
Once you’re happy with the direction, MAI uses that plan to create up to 31 coordinated posts for the month.
This means your content isn’t a collection of random posts created simply to fill your calendar. Every post supports a larger direction and has a clear reason for being there.
The strategy comes first. The content brings it to life.
Absolutely. You can add your own photos or videos to any post—making it easy to feature your products, services, team, customers or what is happening behind the scenes.
If you don’t have the right image, you can ask MAI to create an on-brand image that supports the message of the post.
Use your own visuals when you have them. Let MAI help when you don’t.
Yes. MAI can create an image based on the message and direction of your post or develop a visual that reflects your brand.
If you have something specific in mind, simply upload your product photo, logo or another reference image and tell MAI what you would like her to create. She’ll combine your direction with the purpose of the post to produce an on-brand image designed to capture attention and strengthen your message.
You provide as much—or as little—visual direction as you like, and MAI helps bring the idea to life
No. Marby was designed to make image creation simple and predictable for busy business owners. You don’t need to calculate credits, track hours or worry about unexpected charges.
Each package includes a set number of MAI-created images per month, with enough included to comfortably support your monthly marketing. There are no top-ups, extra image fees or surprise costs.
You’ll always know what is included and what you’re paying each month.
MAI doesn’t currently generate videos. Her main focus is developing your strategy, writing your social media content, creating on-brand images and helping you schedule and publish your posts.
You can add your own approved videos to any posts.
To help keep Marby safe and appropriate for businesses, MAI will not accept images or videos containing violence, nudity, hate speech, or hateful content. If you believe an appropriate image or video has been blocked by mistake, please contact support@marby.ai, and we’ll be happy to help.
As Marby’s video capabilities continue to grow, you’ll find the most current features listed with each membership.
Only on the platforms you choose. When reviewing your content, you can decide whether a post should be shared across all of your connected social accounts or only on specific ones.
Using the same core message and visual helps keep your brand consistent and saves you from recreating content for every channel. You can review and edit each post before it is scheduled and published, so you always have the final say over what appears and where.
03
Publishing & Calendar
Plan, review, schedule, and stay consistent.
Yes. Once you connect your public social media accounts, Marby can schedule and publish your approved content directly to the Marby supported social media channels.
Before anything is published, you can review the post, make changes, choose where it should appear and confirm the scheduled date and time.
Nothing is published until you approve it.
Marby is designed to support major business social channels, allowing you to schedule and publish approved content directly from your Marby calendar.
Available connections may depend on your social account type and the permissions provided by each platform. As Marby adds new connections, the latest supported platforms will be listed with your membership.
Don’t worry—connection issues are often related to account permissions, account type or settings required by the social platform.
Start by confirming that you’re signed in to the correct account and have permission to manage the business page or profile you want to connect. If you’re still having trouble, contact support@marby.ai, and we’ll help you identify the issue and get connected.
For your security, Marby Support will never ask you to share your social media password.
Absolutely. Your Marby Calendar isn’t limited to the content MAI creates. You can add your own posts whenever you have a timely announcement, special event, new promotion or something spontaneous you would like to share.
Simply add your caption and photo or video, choose where you want the post to appear, and select the date and time you would like it published.
MAI helps plan your month—but there is always room for your own ideas.
Yes, of course. As long as the post hasn’t been published, you can update the caption, hashtags, call to action or visual. You can also change the scheduled date, time or social platforms where it will appear.
Once a post has been published, any changes will depend on the editing options available through that social platform.
You remain in control of your content right up until it is published.

If your business operates in a regulated industry, have a qualified professional review any content involving specialized claims, advice, disclosures or legal requirements before approving it for publication.
You are responsible for making sure your marketing complies with the laws, regulations and professional standards that apply to your business.
